The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 3 Travel Health Notice for Fiji indicating a high level of COVID-19 in the country. As of June 24, 2021, there are travel restrictions in place affecting U.S. citizen entry into Fiji.

On June 24th, the Fiji Ministry of Health announced more than 300 new COVID-19 cases. Containment zone restrictions continue to be enforced in several parts of Fiji, including the Suva/Nausori/Lami area. Travel to and from the Suva/Nasouri/Lami corridor is not permitted.

Furthermore, commercial transportation to or from Fiji is only sporadically available. It may be difficult to enter or leave Fiji, and travelers should expect delays entering Fiji and/or returning to the United States. Visit the Embassy's COVID-19 page for more information on COVID-19 and related restrictions and conditions in Fiji.

Before planning any international travel, please review the CDC's specific recommendations for unvaccinated travelers.

The Republic of Fiji is located in the South Pacific, is an archipelago of more than 300 islands, with about 880,000 residents.
